) Abstract: In this paper, we analyze the system throughput and propose a power control algorithm with successive interference cancellation (SIC) of CDMA system on the reverse link
The SIC can significantly decrease the system interference resulting in the benefit on the system capacity
The throughput optimization scheme combines the power control and rate control algorithms to make system converge to a unique global optimal solution
Our scheme is an extension of throughput optimization with considering SIC of the CDMA system
Through theoretic analysis and simulation, we show that the performance of system can be improved obviously compared with traditional schemes
