) Abstract: Increasing demand of data services put new challenges on wireless communication, in this situation, MIMO system received great attention and became the best method to solve the problem
However, just like the traditional communication system, MIMO also has the contradiction between efficiency and reliability, which is diversity and multiplexing
The first one is to enhance the link reliability, maximize the gain of diversity; and the later one is to maximize the data rate, improve the system capacity
Of all the MIMO structures, VBLAST (Vertical Bell Labs Layered Space Time) is the most typical one
In this paper we simulate the VBLAST system based on ZF (Zero-Forcing) and MMSE (Minimum Mean Square Error) separately, and compare the results
