) Abstract: According to the frequent dangerous gas accidents underground and the reality that the existing gas monitoring system in the mine is urgent to translate to wireless communication system, a wireless sensor network monitoring system based on wifi technology is introduced in the paper, the development for the node hardware is according to the low-power wifi chip GS1010 released by Gain Span Corporation, the embedded operating system μ-velosity is used for the software design
The test shows that the monitoring system can work normally and collect the gas test data under the experimental roadway, having certain application value and marketing value
