) Abstract: In order to study the influence of the stiffness of air spring on the running ride comfort of high-speed train, the vibration model of train and bi-block ballastless track system is established using vehicle-track coupled dynamics
Assuming the vehicle model as multi-rigid-body system and the rail model as discrete supported infinite Euler beam hinged at both ends, the new explicit integration method is used to solve the nonlinear equations of vehicle-track coupling dynamics, and to calculate and analyze the running ride comfort of high speed train, furthermore to investigate the relationship between the parameters of air spring and the running ride comfort indexes
The results show that the lateral stiffness and vertical stiffness of air spring of high speed train have a great effect on the ride comfort indexes and the acceleration of car body, while the influence of the longitudinal stiffness of air spring on the ride comfort indexes is less obvious
The unmatched parameters of lateral stiffness and vertical stiffness will worsen the running stability and reduce the ride comfort
In order to improve the running ride comfort of high-speed train, the stiffness parameters of air spring need be configured reasonably
The running speed has a greater impact on the running ride comfort
The running ride comfort indexes and acceleration of the car body increase gradually with the speed increasing
