The character of propagation and transmittance of THz wave in two typical photonic crystal waveguides are computed by FDTD, the results had proved that they had excellent super narrow filter-effect at 100GHz and 225GHz respectively, at the same time, they can also propagate electromagnetic wave as well as waveguide
The results of research are potential valuable on the development of photonic crystal devices (such as PC waveguide) in THz region
