） Abstract： The Da’ping landslide happened to glide along bedding of phyllite due to geological structure, landform physiognomy, attitude of strata, river-cut, groundwater and earthquake and so on
Based on geologic mechanism analysis, the results of stability the calculation express that the landslide should locate state of stabilization under self-weight stress, but it may happen to the whole or large-scale glide under the self-weight stress and groundwater or self-weight stress, earthquake and groundwater, even exist a possibility of block up the river
so trends of development of the landslide have important effect to the design and construction of the highway
