In this paper, the algorithm isextended for the pole assignment of the descriptor system $Edot{x}= Ax + Bu$ with linear state- and derivative-feedback $u = Fx -Gdot{x}$
Newton refinement for the solutions is discussed andseveral illustrative numerical examples are presented
