Methods Middle School Student Mental Health Scale (MSSMHS) was conducted among 900 low-grade middle school students
Results The incidence of mild, moderately and serious mental health problem were 29

The total average points of cadre’s MSSMHS were lower than the common students’(p<0

The total average points of students’ MSSMHS with single-parent family were lower than the common students’(p<0

Conclusion The low-grade school students had serious mental problem in Jiangning district
More active health education measures should be carried out, according to different students
