) Abstract: Several users can be served in one cell using the same frequency, the same time slot, the same spreading code, by Space Division Multiple Access (SDMA)
SDMA achieves space division multiplexing
It can solve the contradiction between current shortage of spectrum resources and the growing data services, without the need to upgrade the existing system structure and to affect users performance, finally improving the cell throughput
This paper analyzes the principle of Outdoor SDM in TD-SCDMA system, and the least isolation degree by fixed beam scanning (GOB) arithmetic ,which can determine whether the system opens SDM
Specially, the performance of side-lobe beam forming and zero subsidence is also analyzed
