) Abstract: The traffic transmission rate is higher and the QoS system is more complex in 4G communication system
The complications should be take into account not only the Pilot Signal Strength It’s insufficient to keep received pilot signal as the only handover judgment parameter in 4G system
And the effect that new access users act on the existing users should not be ignored also
Based on the above analysis, a novel resource cognitive handover (RCH) algorithm is proposed in this paper
The algorithm joints resource and pilot value as handover judgment parameters and uses QoS adaptation algorithm including real time traffic user’s preemption and high traffic rate user’s traffic deceleration
The simulation results illustrate that compared to hard handover 4G system handover dropping probability and new call blocking probability are reduced by RCH algorithm
The impact of high traffic rate handover users on target cell is decreased well
