) Abstract: The mechanism of unequal-step grey model GM(1,1) is introduced
Compare and analyze the difference of the method to determine the ultimate bearing capacity between the GM (1,1) model and static load test
Thus the deficiency of the original method to test the forecasting precision of GM (1,1) model is pointed out
The new test method which is in accord with the characteristics of static load test is put forward
With the new test method, the forecasting precision of GM (1,1) models based on the static load test data from different engineering examples is tested
For different types of Q-S curves, the influence of the initial modeling data to the forecasting precision of GM (1,1) model in forecasting ultimate bearing capacity is analyzed
