) Abstract: Rheologic filling of semisolid alloy melt is defined as a process in which the semisolid alloy melt poured into a die chamber is pressed into a mold cavity through a filling system including three basic units such as sprue, runner and gate by means of the rheologic properties of semisolid alloys
In the process, either of the solid phase and liquid phase in the alloy melts flows actively or passively so as to resulting to two basic phenomena: uniformity filling and discretely filling
