） Abstract： The Yixian formation in western region of Liaoning Province is an important output bed of Jehol biota
It is found that a large number of megafossil plants and spore-and-pollen fossils in the stratum of Yixian formation
According to the plant fossil data discovered and collected by forefathers, the constituent diagnostic research of flora, the contrast to the floral leaf feature discovered in Yixian formation and the floral leaf feature existed in different climatic zone currently, the research of composing character of spore-and-pollen matrix and vegetation types, the features of chief sedimentary lithofacies in Yixian formation and sedimentary symbol, combined with the research of stratum petrology or sedimentology of Mashenmiao-Songbahu , this thesis thinks the climate which formed in YiXian’s days belongs to the climate of temperate zone and subtropics, the climate of drought and semiarid exists universally, the climate seasonal fluctuation is obvious
