Dependence of emission on excitation power under 974nm excitation for Er3+, Yb3+:YAG is tentatively explained by energy transfer from Yb3+ ions to Er3+ ions

The intensity of 554 and 679 nm luminescence varied with the pump power in a double logarithmic relation whose index are 1

The fluorescence lifetime of 2F5/2 level of Yb3+ in codoped YAG is 674レs, lower then msresults of experiment show that Yb3+ ion is a good sensitive agent
