) Abstract: In order to enhance the fault diagnosis efficiency of the substation which is equipped with multi-level relay protection, in this paper, we use different weights of the changed vectors of Petri network model to represent the configuration level of relay protection, and it makes specific diagnosis signs appeared in the diagnosis results of relays and circuit breakers, thus it increases the recognition capacity of fault signals
The diagnostic process is realized through the calculation of a one-way matrix, A fault diagnosis simulation of a real substation shows that the method has the advantages of a high computing speed and a good rate of accuracy
