） Abstract： This paper briefly introduced the status and the problems of the rural drinking water Security in China, and in accordance with the overall situations of the rural drinking water Security in China, analyzed the factors which impacted China\ns rural drinking water safety, and established a rural drinking water safety comprehensive evaluation system, which suited to the development level of China
The evaluation system can help the Government to provide a scientific basis for decision-making in establishing the infrastructure construction of rural drinking water safety and in management policies
