) Abstract: A low-complexity proportional fair resource allocation algorithm is proposed for OFDMA distributed antenna system in this paper
The problems of subcarrier allocation and power allocation on each antenna are solved
In the proposed subcarrier allocation algorithm, the proportion of the number of subcarriers allocated to users on the same antenna is roughly the same to the required proportion of the users’ data rate
Therefore, the problem of power allocation can be solved on each antenna separately
Only linear equations need to be solved, and huge amount of iteration computation is avoided, which significantly reduces the computation complexity of the algorithm
According to the theoretical analysis and the simulation result, the proposed algorithm effectively increase the system capacity, and roughly realize the proportional fairness among the users
