) Abstract: Automatic guided vehicle (AGV) is the key part of the advanced manufacture system
The present guide technologies are analysised and a new type system and path following controller and obstacle avoidance strategy for AGV is proposed in this paper
Consider that AGV encounters obstacles during following the planned path, the detection approach based on computer vision is applied to the problem, the width of obstacles and the distance between obstacles and AGV can be obtained by the image analysis
After passing through obstacles, the AGV will come back the planned path
