) Abstract: It applies hydrodynamic Model to simulate COD of sewage around Xiaoyangkou, Rudong City, Jiangsu Province in this paper
Curvilinear orthogonal grid is used in interesting area, and hydrodynamics and water quality model are used to the current velocity field and tidal level field both on case of the spring and the neap tide
The computational results are compared with measured field data around drain
It shows that the simulation results are consistent with field data
In each case of spring and neap tide , velocity and direction play an important pole in transportation and diffusion , and the effect of sewage is maximum when ebb peaks in neap tide period
