However, there are many problems in design of continuous wall corbel of small shear span ratio
In code of hydraulic structure design there is the regulation that when shear span ratio is less than 0

3 should be used, and it leads to excessive reinforcement and difficulties in the construction
It is necessary to study the carrying capacity of continuous wall corbel with small shear span ratio
Based on the fitted formula according to the research project, design norm of hydraulic structure, which includes series of mode tests of reinforced corbels of different shear span ratio, this article analyzes continuous wall corbel with shear span ratio under vertical loads by nonlinear finite element method, gets graphs about limit load-span to analysis the formula applied to the continuous wall corbel
