As-prepared graphene/NiO composite, where graphene is the substrate to fix NiO nanoparticles (NPs) and the NPs act as the spacers to prevent graphene from aggregation, shows excellent electrochemical performance
The incorporation of nanosized NiO provides higher energy storage capacity and develops many more unhindered channels for ions to access active surface of graphene and NiO NPs
The graphene/oxide composite exhibits great potential in the application of electrochemical energy storage
