But the forms of the alarm systems are mainly based on short message, email and voice card, which have some drawbacks
Therefore an alarm system based on VoIP is proposed in this paper
The VoIP system is based on Asterisk which has outstanding flexibility and extensibility to customize more applications
The outgoing file, dial plan and application API are described in detail, while the advantages of the system are presented
