Better result can be obtained when the model is used to forecasting the transportation of contaminants in water
A horizontal two dimensional mathematical water quality model was established in order to predict the transportation of COD after which enters into sea in the case of neap
The result shows that: after the COD from Jueju river entering into the sea, the COD average concentration increment can satisfy the demand of the seawater’s water quality when superposed the sea itself; COD will exceed standard slightly within the range of the sea area of about 0
38 square meters when the COD highest concentration increment superposes the sea itself, but as a whole, it can not have a great impact on water environment along the Jueju milldam sea area
