） Abstract： Nowadays, there are various online reading systems, but most of them are implemented by using plug-in technology
The CEBX document technical specification is introduced in this paper
And by employing P/Invoke, AJAX and other technology, we design and implement an online reading system, which can achieve online reading on browser without any plug-ins
Meanwhile, this system can support text search and text picking up functions
This paper introduce d konwledge on CEBX document technology and cross-platform call, and proposed a detailed scheme of the whole design
