) Abstract: IDMA becomes one of the key technologies in the fourth-generation mobile communications for its’ good performance and low complexity, To meet the requirement of high-throughput, high-bandwidth efficiency in the broadband mobile communications in future, the paper introduces the basic principles of multi-layer iterative division multiplexing space-time codes (ML-IDM-ST) and analyses the performance of ML-IDM-ST system
ML-IDM-ST system is derived from using the space idea based on IDMA systems, which has the advantages of easily received, low decoding complexity and high system throughput
