） Abstract： This article analyzes the building torsional vibration effect modal parameter identification under the seismic excitations
An AR(n) model was established taking the vibration acceleration of whole system as a time series
And the relation between model parameters of time series and the modal parameters was used to obtain the modal parameters of the vibration system
The identification problem of natural frequency and damping coefficient of the system in time series method was emphatically discussed
