） Abstract： When the total terminal transmission power is limited, the terminal carrier power maybe un-controllable because of the time and frequency resources specialty of OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) system
Based on the AMC(Adaptive Modulation and Coding), power control and schedule algorithms, a method named Limited Carrier Method is put forward, in which the maximum useable terminal sub-carriers are limited The performance of the method has been tested by the dynamic system simulation on WiMAX(Worldwide Interoperability Microwave Access) system
The simulation results show that the Limited Carrier Method is suitable in no-real time service situation, which results in 1/6 higher sector throughput and 1% to 3
5% lower code error rate
