通常用第一人称记写
英语日记的格式与汉语相同
在正文上方自左起顶格写上日期、星期几和天气情况
正文另起一行，内容应有所选择，记有意义、感受最深的事，切忌流水账
有话则长，无话则短，甚至三言两语亦可
通常采用一般过去时或可灵活运用
日记的写作格式如下： 1） sept 23, 1991, wednesday cloudy it is three months since i began this diary… 2） friday, may i fine today is may day… 月份除may, june, july外，其余可用缩写形式
常用来表示天气的词有fine, cloudy, rainy, windy, snow等
